Beatrice Marth Lovato's Obituary
Beatrice Marth Lovato, 79, of Orem Utah, passed away on July 12th, 2025, at Utah Valley Hospital.
Born on October 10, 1945, in Pajarito New Mexico to Edward and Mary Jane Lopez. Bea graduated from Rio Grande high school in Albuquerque, NM. Shortly after graduating, she moved to California. She had a successful career as an OSPS operator for AT&T for 32 years. She met her husband Mel of 60 years, in New Mexico while he played in the band for her graduation. They were married in August of 1964, a year after moving to California.
Bea was known for her, kindness, patience, and her beautiful smile. Bea was liked by all who met her and was greatly loved by those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Ismael Lovato, her two daughters Bernadette (deceased) and Nicole. Bea had five greatly adored grandchildren, Xandra, Emajoy, Joseph, Joshua, and Jaeden. Bea loved spending time with her great-granddaughter Kaia.
A celebration of Bea’s life will be held at 10:00 am at the LDS chapel located at
140 N 400 W, Orem, Ut 84057. Service will begin at 11:00 am.
Bea’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering support for others will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
