Beatrice Luana Pettit's Obituary
Beatrice Luana Pettit (Loni); mother of 4 children passed over peacefully at her home in MAGNA, Utah on Monday September 8th at 1:45 pm.
Loni was born in Woods Cross Utah October 5, 1929 on the eve of the great depression. Loni graduated high school and worked variously at JC Penny candy counter, Sky Haven Airport, as a telephone operator in Utah and California.
She loved a drive in the country, especially the beaches in Northern California, Timpanogos Canyon Utah and in Idaho- lost river country. She collected rocks and was always working on a jigsaw puzzle. Loni loved horses, Daniel's cat Manup and Cherry's dog Precious (wiggle butt)
Loni is survived by her children Cherry, Karla, Daniel and 21 grandchildren, over 19 great grandchildren and at least one great grandchild.
Loni was preceded in death by her father George Cotton Wood Jr., mother Beatrice (Fullmer) Wood, her siblings Marvin, Verda, Nina, George, Daniel, Jack, Verona, her beloved daughter Marriann and her husbands William J. Holayter and Donald G. Petit.
Loni was known for her kindness, love of farmlife and most of all her love for her children. Her love for her Savior Jesus Christ and His gospel sustained her throughout the trials of her life.
She will be dearly missed and remembered, until we meet again.
