Beckie was a true Angel. There were times in my life where I thought that I was helping or serving her, but she was really the one helping and serving me. We lived together in my old Orem Home, with Paul and Brandi and the kids. We went to UVU together and just had fun driving around, going to movies and going out to eat. At that time, a lot of my friends were getting married or going away to school. The ones that stayed, started making poor choices so I distanced myself from them and literally had no friends. I decided to focus on college. I knew that Beckie needed a friend as well. But what really happened is that Beckie saw that I needed a friend. She was someone I could giggle with, someone who would tell me how it really was, someone who loved me unconditionally. She was truly an angel who blessed everyone around her with her kindness, honesty, and sense of humor.
Even when we didn't see each other for periods of time, the moment that we would see each other was so sweet. She was always so excited to see me, and vise versa. I always felt pure love from her and felt that she was like a Sister to me. She fought long and hard and had so many obstacles in life, but I know that our Heavenly Father enveloped her in his arms when they met again and he told her, "Well done thou good and faithful servant." She endured this life with so many trials, and health hardships, but she did it with faith and and with a sense of humor and with a pleasant attitude.
Beckie, your sweet spirit and countenance will be greatly missed. I can't wait until we see each other again and I get to see how excited you are to see me again because I will feel the same way. Love you dearly sweet Sister and Friend.
