Belkis Gonzalez, 50 años , madre amorosa de Samuel Contreras (15), Alvin Contreras (13), y Daniel Contreras (11) y dulce hija de Silverio Gonzalez y Yolanda de Gonzalez, hermada de Tryny Teichert y Silverio Gonzalez, falleció en horas de la mañana del día 17 de Febrero en Orem Utah, después de una larga batalla contra un cancer cerebral. Belkis nació el Caracas, Venezuela en 1972, donde creció rodeada de una hermosa y numerosa familia. Termino su carrera universitaria en Turismo en Venezuela antes de mudarse a los Estados Unidos. Sus pasatiempos favoritos eran bailar y escuchar las conferencias generales de la iglesia. Su color favorito era el verde. Fue una excelente y amorosa madre. La educación y el bienestar de sus hijos siempre fue lo primero para ella. Belkis tenía una gran fe y amor a su Padre Celestial y a través de la forma en la que vivía su vida, se convirtió en un gran ejemplo de mujer cristiana para todas las personas que la conocieron. El amor que sentía por el evangelio inspiraba y ayudaba a muchos. Su familia siempre la extrañará, pero saben que ella estará viviendo feliz del otro lado del velo y será el ángel de la guarda de sus tres hijos. Estamos felices por el gran ejemplo que Belkis fue para nosotros, pero sabemos que la volveremos a ver en la mañana de la primera resurrección, junto a nuestro Salvador. La familia esta muy agradecida por las expresiones de cariño, las palabras confortantes y las oraciones de todos aquellos que se han acercado. Deseamos que Nuestro Padre Celestial siga bendiciéndoles a todos. Los servicios funerales se llevarán a cabo en La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días, 1505 N Timberwolf Trail Orem, Utah a las 11 de la mañana el sábado 26 de Febrero del 2022

Belkis Gonzalez, age 50, loving mother of Samuel Contreras (15), Alvin Contreras (13), and Daniel Contreras (11) and sweet daughter of Silverio Gonzalez Rodriguez and Yolanda Matos de Gonzalez, sister to Tryny Teichert and Silverio Gonzalez, passed away in Orem, Utah, on early hours of February 17th after a courageous and long battle with brain cancer. Belkis was born in 1972 in Caracas, Venezuela, where she grew up surrounded by a large family. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Tourism in Venezuela before she moved to United States. Her favorite hobbies were dancing and listening to conference talks. Her favorite color was green. She was an excellent and loving mother. Her kid’s education and wellbeing came always first. Belkis had a strong faith and love for her Heavenly Father, and through her way of living she became a wonderful example of what a true Christian would be. Her love for the gospel of Jesus Christ always inspired those around her. Her family will miss her dearly on this side but knows that she lives happily behind the veil and will be a guardian angel for her 3 kids. We are proud of the wonderful example she was to all of us, and we are sure we will all meet her again in the morning of the resurrection, right at Jesus’s feet. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the sympathy, comforting words, prayers and all expression of kidness and concern. May Heavenly Father continue to bless you all. Her funeral services will be held at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 1505 N Timberwolf Trail Orem, Utah at 11am on Saturday 26th of February 2022.
