We remember Ben for many things and thank him for his humor, letting Alex use his snowblower, not turning his sprinklers on when Robyn was playing on his grass (ours wasn't in), giving Dan instructions and encouragement when he was building our fence, being a special friend to Eric and being the master of the Escalante Drive/Sublette Place southwest corner. Fond memories.

Ben became a friend through our boys’ friendship, but he stayed a long distance friend over the years when I moved to Tennessee. He will be missed!

At neighborhood campouts their tent camper would
be relegated to the farthest campsite.
It was always fun to be in Ben’s presence.
He was our home teacher for years.

We have been friends since meeting at BYU. We always loved when Ben would graciously agree to entertain us, and he was never shy to tell you when your piano was out of tune. We enjoyed our annual visits to the state fair (until a couple of us could not endure all the walking), converrtible rides, Mexican food, a trip to Island Park in all the snow, and we went often to The Organ Loft (where I think he drooled over the huge Wurlitzer Organ). We treasure our friendship with Ben and Sylvia. We moved to Sandy in 1987 and within a few years Jim started playing with "Right Combonation " and then we took several vacations with the Brewers . Cruising was Ben's favorite and we enjoyed a trip to Hawaii together. We will miss our visits and sharing our
love for good music. Love to all the Brewer family. Thanks for the memories!!!

I have enjoyed reconnecting with Ben over Facebook. He spread a lot of cheer that way. His Dad was my Uncle Clyde who was an Elder in the Mormon Church, converted by Alice, of course. A big hug to Sylvia and the family!
