What I remember most about Brother Benny Chavez was the memories of past stories of us as kids growing up. We would talk for a while on the phone. One memory was of us was he would pick me up to go the Salt Lake City and and drop me off to my girlfriend with is now my wife, he would go to his event (something to do with a meeting with the Honor Guard I believe) but he would pick me up after his event. That happened a few times. I love that man. A man of God he was to me. He always kept his Lord first in his life based on the conversations we had on the phone.
