Unless I'm mistaken, this is the gentleman I spoke with a time or two at the Bountiful Cemetery. Today I took time to take a walk in the cemetery for the first time in a long time. I used to walk regularly there, starting at the grave of my two sons located on Timberwood. I remember speaking with Bernard. He was the same age as my mother. I was so impressed that he walked there so much--every day, I believe. He lived close by and walked over. He showed me where his wife was buried and showed me his name on the headstone, telling me that one day I would walk by and see his death date there.
Well, today, I went looking for that headstone and saw that he indeed has passed on. I was amazed to see that he ended up passing away just two days before my mother did!
I enjoyed my conversations with him; he was so friendly. It brightened my day to speak with him.
