Beth Hansen's Obituary
Beth Ann Hansen passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 8, 2014 at the age of 73. She was born on October 3, 1940 to Blaine and Mildred Taylor. She is the second of four children and the only daughter.
Beth was born in Butte, MT and lived her childhood in Richmond, CA and Levan, UT. Beth graduated from Juab High School in 1958 and attended Snow College in Ephraim, UT. She married Teral Dean Hansen in 1960. They lived in Ephraim, Spanish Fork and for the last 44 years the lived in Orem.
She was a stay at home mom and was her children’s number one supporter for their sports and extra curricular activities. She always put her children and grandchildren first! She had a very good sense of humor and wasn’t afraid to show her crazy and spontaneous side. She was a great friend, compassionate and had a heart of gold serving everyone around her especially those of lesser circumstance than her.
Beth’s hobbies were watching and following the Utah Jazz, BYU Cougars and other sports teams. Beth was an amazing seamstress and loved making quilts for her grandchildren and for her ward members who were having babies. She always had a quilt in process at all times while she was able.
She has had limited mobility due to her health conditions over the last 30 years. But she always made the best of it with her humor, positive attitude while enduring to the end. She was very grateful for her loving husband who has been a fantastic, full-time care giver for the last 8 years.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Greg Taylor.
Beth was survived by her husband, Teral, three children - Mary Ann Hansen of Orem, UT, Nancy (Steve) Howard of Benjamin, UT and Dean (Janine) Hansen of Lehi, UT.
