Betsy Carolina Stewart's Obituary
Betsy Carolina Stewart passed away on April 16, 2026, at the age of 51 after a short illness with cancer with her daughter by her side. Carolina was born on December 18, 1974, in Caracas, Venezuela to Juan Bello Henriquez and Arelis Garcia Luces. She is survived by her children, Allyson and Wesley; sister, Vivian; nieces Genesis and Milagros, and her nephews, Gustavo and Alfonso. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Veronica.
Known to her friends as Carolina, she was a very social person. Growing up, she was an honors student who enjoyed school. She later worked as an administrative assistant and studied Accounting. She was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Relief Society in Venezuela. At the age of 31, she moved to the United States to get married at the Washington D.C. Temple. Later, she welcomed her two children, Allyson and Wesley.
Carolina enjoyed photography, Argentine football and dancing. She was an amazing cook, and her signature dish was Pastelitos. She was a festive person who loved decorating for every holiday. She enjoyed living in Virginia and especially enjoyed the changing seasons. She was a great mother and friend who listened without judgement. A graveside service will be held at the Provo City Cemetery on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Please have flowers delivered directly to the graveside service.
