Bette Jane Hendry's Obituary
Bette Jane Hendry passed away peacefully, April 28, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bette was born November 11, 1923 in Salt Lake City. Bette parents where Paul Dedrey and Alice (Ida). she graduated from South High School in 1941. she worked at Hill Air Force Base during WWII, she attended Stevens Hengers college. she also was the first police female officers in the Police Department. After her son she started working at the health services, at city Health Department. she then transferred to the State Health Lab deputy director, after 25 years she retired.
Bette loved music, singing, card games, watching family feud, dancing, drawing, and playing with her grandkids, Rose and Anna. she also made a mean bowel Jell-O.
Bette will be missed by her son (Ben), and her grandkids (Rose, Anna).
We miss you and love you mom, grandma. Thanks for always being there for us.
