Earl J Meyer
Betty and I dated during our years at Granite and I had hoped that it would go on forever. One night at her home she sat me down and said that she had made a decision. She said that she had made the decision of who she was going to continue to date towards getting married. As you can easily see I was not the lucky candidate. I never stopped loving Betty. She truly could make anyone smile or laugh. I still remember some of the jokes that she told me. One in particular about the chef that used his armpit as a hamburger press. Never mind the details, she probably told all of you the joke as well. Betty was special to say the least. I started missing her after that unhappy (for me) night in 1965. I know that we will all see her again. A special hello and love to Susan. Earl Meyer
