Betty Jo was my friend for 20 years in Nauvoo Illn. We became primary teachers together and then visiting teaching together she's the funniest character I have ever met in my life I miss her terribly because every once in a while I would phone her and listen for about an hour she told me all of the things she was doing she was a character I loved her dearly I just happened to find out on the internet searching to see if she had passed on cuz I wasn't able to reach her by phone or by email my heart aches for her passing I feel very blessed to have had her as a dear friend I loved her outspoken manner I always knew where I stood we left a lot together goodbye Betty Jo see you in the resurrection

Grandma was an always intelligent and kind woman. I remember planting beautiful flowers in her little plot of land that are still in bloom now, in her memory, even if grandma herself is gone from us. I remember visiting her with my family, sitting on the couch and talking, her telling me about my father and showing me various books. I remember buying her cheesecake for her 95th birthday and how happy she was. I remember going to her place on halloween, trick or treating, and showing her my costume; this year was a pumpkin. I remember decorating her place for Christmas back when I was much younger. I will keep remembering grandma for as long as I can. She truly was a special woman. With love Sofiya Ivie
