Betty Jensena Jones' Obituary
Betty Jensena Jones age 67, peacefully passed away in her home on Dec. 29th 2023 and was reunited with her loved ones in heaven. Betty was born April 28th, 1956 to Bobby and Karine Bancroft in Duchesne, UT. And then later grew up in Orem, Ut. Betty had 4 sisters and I brother.
Betty married her sweetheart Dave on Aug 7th, 1982 in Lehi, Ut. She had 9 children, 7 sons and 2 daughters. She leaves behind 42 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Betty loved spending time up the canyon picnicking with her family, she liked to take occasional trips to Wendover and various locations such as Yellowstone for her anniversaries. She loved finding treasures at thrift stores and loved spending time with her children. She loved when they came over for coffee. Betty was a lover for native art and their music. She also love country music and classic rock. She also loved getting her love bucket filled up by her grandchildren. She will be immensely missed by those she leaves behind.
Betty is proceeded in death by her parents: Bobby and Karine Bancroft, her brother: Bobby Bancroft, her sisters: Teresa Barnhart and Callie Rasmussen. Her two sons: Christopher and Brandon Boyd, her 4 grandchildren: Makia, Cadyn, Kiley and William.
She is survived by her husband David R. Jones. Her children: John (Sherry) Boyd, Jennifer (Joe) Christen, Dennis (Andrea) Boyd, Clayton (Mindy) Boyd, David M. Jones (Casey), Sarah (J.D.) Kirk, Daniel (Shanda) Jones, her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. And her two sisters: Kathy (Jim) Johnson and Marlene (Jerry) Kelly and her two brother in-laws: Randy Rasmussen and Terry Barnhart
There will be a graveside service Wednesday January 3, 2024 at 1pm at the Lehi City Cemetery, 1525 N. 600 E. Lehi, UT. 84043
