Beverly was born in North Haven, Connecticut, on April 23rd, 1932, the daughter of Harold and Anna Shea. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert & Donald Shea.
Beverly was a devoted wife and mother. She married Robert in 1953, having celebrated 71 years of marriage last July. Beverly worked for Traveler's Insurance before having children. She then served on the Killingworth Elementary PTA board, was a Cub Scout & Girl Scout Leader, and in multiple callings at her church. After the children became teenagers, Beverly returned to work with the Connecticut Estuary Council, providing post-op care for seniors in their homes, along with cooking and serving lunches at the council's Clinton, CT location.
Beverly continued her mother's love for growing beautiful flowers that surrounded her home and was an accomplished baker, especially at Christmas time. She had a love of birds, especially hummingbirds. Beverly enjoyed spending time in Niantic, CT fishing for fluke on the family's boat. She also loved spending time at the beach at their second home in Florida, collecting hundreds of shark teeth. She was a great example of a loving, caring individual with a great sense of humor.
Thoughts from her family: "We love you Mom and wait for a joyous reunion with you one day, as we believe you are now having with your parents and extended family. Until then we will miss you dearly!"
A memorial will be held in Beverly's honor at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1541 N 1300 W Pleasant Grove, Utah on March1st, 2025 at 11:00am. (MST)
