Beverly Joy Cornell Haynes' Obituary
Beverly Joy Cornell Haynes, 84, died of natural causes in Layton, Utah. Beverly was born July 2, 1936 in Salt Lake County to Harold and Hazel Carstensen.
Beverly is predeceased in death by: Sherman Cornell (first husband), Richard Ogilvie (brother), Harold and Hazel Carstensen (dad/mom) and Charles Richard and Hazel Julian Hemmert (grandfather/grandmother).
Beverly is survived by her children: Steve Cornell, Shaunna Abbott and Stan Cornell, her grandchildren: Autumn, Riley, Bryce, Ashley, Krystl, Jerame and Nathan, and her great grandchildren: Jaycie, Kaden, Kaylee, Dallin, Gavin, Gavin, Holly, Jaida and Ashley.
Beverly was born in Salt Lake where she met her first husband Sherman Cornell. After having their three children they moved to Clearfield where her and her husband started a business that they ran for many years. When they sold their business they traveled for several years and ended up in Eagle Point, Oregon. Bev would teach line dancing and clogging. She was invited to attend the fairs for her dancing duo team “Double Trouble” whereby they would go on to win contests for their dancing. She moved back to Utah to be close to her family. Upon her return to Utah she started dancing at the senior center and very quickly stared to run the exercise classes at the Golden Hour Senior Center.
Viewing will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 South, 1950 West, Roy, Utah from 6 to 8 p.m.
