Blaine Brown's Obituary
Blaine Brown of Ogden, 74, passed away peacefully at his home from complications due to pneumonia with his family by his side on the evening of Tuesday, May 31, 2022. He was born in Ogden, UT on March 1, 1948 to Ella and Lester Brown.
He married Rose Blakely and they had 4 children together. They later divorced and he married Judy Cevering, together they had a son.
Blaine was a welder by trade and worked with his brother Jim by his side for many years at Bradley Corporation and, retired from Wells Cargo,. He was respected by many for his excellence in his work and kindness to others. After retiring, he served as a bus attendant for special needs children with First Student. He enjoyed getting up each morning to help the kids on and off the bus and then picking them up each afternoon, he told his family many stories of the kids he rode with each day. Blaine enjoyed camping and fishing with his family and spent many great vacations in the Unita mountains along the Bear River.
Blaine is survived by his wife, Judy, six children; Sherri (Lonn) Holcomb, Michael Brown, Lisa Wilson, Kevin (Mindy) Brown, Dustin Brown and stepson, Jade Crozier, his sister, Helen Jensen, his sister in law, Karen Brown and his lifelong friend Fred Gabaldon. He loved and spoiled his 8 grandchildren; Melissa, Nicole, Christian, Cody, Cory, Cohen, Sydnee and Avery and his 4 great-grandchildren; Brock, Abigail, Dylan and Rowan. And his faithful and snugly fur baby, Lucky, who's job now is to watch over and keep Judy company.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, three brothers; Harold, James and Wayne and one sister; Diane.
No services are planned, however, his family is making plans to say farewell at a later date.
