Bonnie Brower Ashcroft's Obituary
Bonnie Brower Ashcroft, aged 66, passed away in Houston, Texas on October 18, 2024. She is survived by three children, Nicole Ashcroft Keeney, Daniel Ashcroft, and Deandra Ashcroft; and three grandchildren. Bonnie was born in Pasco, Washington and lived in the Pacific Northwest during her childhood and youth. She met her husband, Michael Kenneth Ashcroft, on a church young single adult trip to the Teton Mountain range. They were married in the Idaho Falls temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 10, 1978. Following Mike’s graduation from law school the family relocated to Houston, Texas where they raised their family. Bonnie and Mike were blessed with four children, Nicole, Daniel, Steven, and Deandra. Bonnie was a devoted mother to her children. She volunteered frequently with their school and church activities. She was also a talented artist. Bonnie taught painting classes at a local art store in Houston. As her children grew, she began working for the City of Houston Public Works Water Department as a Customer Service Section Chief. Bonnie was a mentor to many people within the department. She worked tirelessly to improve the world around her. Bonnie was preceded in death by her son Steven and her beloved husband Mike. Bonnie will be laid to rest beside her husband and son in Pleasant Grove, Utah. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday November 2, 2024 at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, 70 South 100 East.
