Bonnie Dawn Mickelsen Sims' Obituary
Bonnie Dawn Mickelsen Sims joined her parents, Richard A. and Judy A. Mickelsen, in heaven on Sunday, December 26, 2021.
She was born May 1, 1973 in Ogden, Utah. She attended schools in Roy and graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She shared her knowledge and skills in her career in security at many businesses and had taught at Salt Lake Community College.
Bonnie was beautiful in body and soul with a sharp mind, quick wit and a passion for the people and things she loved, especially her children, who survive her: Alyxandria (Cody) Egget, Jeremy Sims, Mikel Sims, Cameron Sims and Dallon Sims.
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Alfred (JoDee) Mickelsen, Alfonso (Lesieli) Mickelsen, Tina (John) Merrett, Brenda (Steve) Bischoff, Richard (Jennifer) Mickelsen (Jr), Gregory (Jackie) Mickelsen, Patrick (Christie) Mickelsen, Georgia (Travis) Strong and Joel (Sarah) Mickelsen and by 6 grandchildren.
In honoring Bonnie’s compassionate wish, the gift of a better life was shared with people in need through organ donation.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2021, at 9:00am at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 S 1950 W in Roy, Utah, with a viewing available from 8:00am to 8:45. Interment will be at Central Cemetery in Grant, Idaho.
