Boyd Robert Lythgoe's Obituary
Boyd Robert Lythgoe was born June 11th, 1960, to doting parents Boyd and Dora Lythgoe. Boyd was raised in a loving home with 3 younger siblings in Sandy, Utah. He graduated from Jordan High School and received a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Utah. He worked in his dream career as a photographer and graphic designer for 30 years.
Boyd served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Quebec, Canada & Northern New York, where he met his lovely wife-to-be Robin (Hayes) Lythgoe. They were married on August 12th, 1983. Together Boyd and Robin raised one son, Trevor, and 3 daughters: Amy, Samantha, and Caitlin.
In addition to his passion for photography, Boyd had a great love for the outdoors. He spent many of his weekends hiking with his Boy Scout troop, hunting, fishing, camping, skiing, motorcycling, and camping with his family and friends. Boyd will be remembered for his charitable, adventurous, and humorous spirit.
He is survived by his parents Boyd and Dora Lythgoe, his siblings Kevin, Darin and Tania, his wife Robin Lythgoe, his children Trevor, Amy, Samantha, and Caitlin, as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
