Boyd David Wilson's Obituary
Our beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Dad, Grandpa (Gubs), Uncle and Friend, Boyd David Wilson, lost his courageous battle with cancer February 17, 2015 at the age of 62. Boyd was born in Ogden, Utah August 15, 1952 to Morgan Wesley Wilson and Helen Mary Dickamore Wilson Stewart. Boyd was raised in Roy Utah and had 3 siblings, Wesley (Wendy) of Riverdale, Barbara of Huntsville, and Jerry (Lisa) of South Ogden. Boyd graduated from Roy High in 1970. He married Dawn LuAnn Weaver June 1, 1973 in Kaysville, Utah. They recommitted their love for each other February 3, 2015. Together, they had three sons. Morgan (Keri) of Roy, Nick of Roy, and Jon (Kacy) of Hooper. Boyd served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam, and then retired after working for 30 years as a civilian at Hill Air Force Base. Boyd was a man of many talents including mechanics, carpentry, tile work, painting, and wood work. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and golf, but above all he enjoyed his seven grandchildren. Boyd was preceded in death by his father and grandparents Wesley & Bedelia Wilson and Paul & Nellie Dickamore. Boyd is survived by, his mom, wife, 3 sons and his 7 grandchildren; Mitchell, Cooper, Taylor, Gage, Carlee, Tessa and Maggie.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the LDS church located at 5080 South 3100 West in Roy, Utah from 1pm to 3pm.
