Bradley Joe Heileson's Obituary
Bradley Joe Heileson, 54, of Idaho Falls, ID, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. Born on September 18, 1969, in Idaho Falls, ID, Brad was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Dell Heileson.
Brad attended Idaho Falls High School and Ricks College. He worked for the Fastenal Company, where he spent most of his career as a general manager. A dedicated Eagle Scout, Brad also served an LDS mission to the Arizona Phoenix Mission, where he touched many lives and made lifelong friends with his kindness and dedication.
On November 18, 1993, Brad married Becky Lyn Heileson, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Together, they raised four wonderful children: Ashley Heileson, Kelsey (Trevor) Bischoff, Sydney Heileson, and Berkley Heileson. Brad was a proud grandfather to Bode, Nixon, and Jett Bischoff, and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren.
Brad is survived by his wife, Becky, his daughters and his mother, Bonnie Heileson; his sisters, Kimberle (Doug) Huefner, Andrea (Jeff) Gardner, Kathryn (Craig) Rigby, and Kelly (Ryan) Perry; and his father-in-law, Brent (Bonnie) Brown. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly. He was also preceded in death by his beloved Aunt Colleen, along with both sets of grandparents.
A man of many passions, Brad was an avid fisherman and introduced many to the sport he loved so much. He was also a devoted golfer and missed both activities terribly as his health declined. A loyal BYU sports fan, Brad attended many games, sharing his enthusiasm with family and friends. He also found profound joy in attending his daughter’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and other activities whenever possible. Brad's dedication to the LDS Church was evident through his service as a scout leader for over 10 years, where he was beloved by all the boys he served.
Brad’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. A memorial account has been set up to help the family at America First Credit Union acct # 9130071, or contributions can be made via Venmo to @Becky-Heileson.
