Bradley D Reeder's Obituary
Bradley D Reeder (Brad)
Our husband, dad, son, brother, ‘papa’, uncle, and friend returned peacefully to his Heavenly Father at the age of 45, on August 21, 2022, due to head injuries sustained in a tragic accident.
Brad was born in Ogden, Utah to Daryl Reeder & Linda Tingey. He grew up in Plain City and was raised by Kent & Linda Tingey. He graduated, by the skin of his teeth, from Fremont High School in 1995. As a child, he loved playing baseball with his friends, getting into things that he shouldn’t, and stirring things up around the neighborhood. He was the cause of many of his mother’s sleepless nights.
At the age of 17, Brad became a father of Mckenzey (Taney).
He fell in love with his best friend’s little sister, Crystal Vest (Warg) and they were married on February 1, 1997. Together they were blessed with, and raised three of the most amazing children you’ll ever meet, Trisden, Bailey, and Bronson. During the 13 years they were together, there was an abundance of love and laughter. Their lives were dedicated to each other, their children, their family, and their friends.
Brad met the love of his life, Michelle Roberts. They were married on September 1, 2017. They loved each other deeply. He adored and doted over her the entire 7 years that they were together. You would often find them having whipped cream fights, teasing one another, snuggling up on the couch watching tv together, playing cards with family or having a BBQ with friends. Michelle made him feel like he was on top of the world. Their fun-loving bond was genuine, they spoiled each other and as long as they were together, they were content. With this marriage he gained two children, Payden and Dusty.
At the time of his passing, the biggest joy in his life was being a ‘Papa’. He leaves behind five granddaughters, Saylor, Abrianna, Amelia, Zaelynn, and Haizlee, and two grandsons Drake and Tayzen.
He was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Although he was not active at the time of his passing, he always shared his deep-rooted love of the gospel with those who were closest to him and shared his testimony of Christ by serving and loving those around him.
When he was young, he worked on the farm with his uncle Frank (Battistone) and many other family members, who took him in under their wings and taught him the importance of hard work.
He worked for a time at Wonder Bread in Ogden, until he moved on to Kennecott Copper, where he’s spent the last 15 years, living the little boy’s dream of playing with Big Tonka Trucks (Shovel Loaders). He loved his job and was proud of the work that he did there. He quickly gained lifelong friends that he deeply loved and are now considered family.
Brad lived life to the fullest. He loved to camp, fish, hunt, golf, and spend time with his family and friends. He was patriotic to the core and had a deep love for his mom, his country, and the Dallas Cowboys. He was always up for a practical joke and spent all year making sure his white elephant gift at Christmas, got the most laughs. He was a hard worker and was admired by many for his strength through trials, his positive outlook on life, his work ethic, his loyalty, his sense of humor and his quick wit. He was always willing to help anyone in need or be there when you needed one of his warm and tight bear hugs. All 6’ 5” of him was a little rough around the edges, but he had the biggest heart and was a bit mushy on the inside. He had respect for his parents, was protective of his sisters, looked up to by his brother, giddy for his wife, strong for his boys, wrapped around his daughter’s finger, found complete joy in his grandbabies and will be missed by his 3 fur babies. Family was everything to him.
Brad is survived by his wife Michelle, his children, Mckenzey Taney (Taylor), Trisden Reeder (Destiny), Bailey Reeder, Bronson Reeder, Payden Bailey (Shelby), and Dusty Roberts, his grandchildren, his parents Kent & Linda Tingey and Daryl & Laurie Reeder and his Mother-in-law LaRae Russell (Warren Armading). Siblings: Wendy Cowan (Kelly), LaShawn Trotta (Travis), Debbie Spinden (Bill Frandsen, fiance’), Val Reeder (Jennifer), Mandy Rios (Eric), Kimberley Caso (Paul), Michelle Larsen, Nathan Tingey (Charity), and Tyler Tingey (Natalie).
Brad leaves behind many nieces and nephews that he thought the world of, aunts and uncles he looked up to, cousins and friends that he’ll never forget. He leaves behind many dear friends that were considered family, especially his friends Jake Gunderson, Steve Sharp, and Mike Martinez.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brothers Scott Tingey and Ryan Tingey.
