Branden Lee Pearson's Obituary
Branden Lee Pearson, 44, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, in Ogden, Utah after battling Stage 4 COPD with A1 Deficiency.
Branden was born February 10, 1978, in Salt Lake County, Utah, to Thomas (Steve) Pearson and Anna M Hamby. He was raised in the Salt Lake area and attended Mt. Jordan Middle School and Jordan High School.
He married Tayea Zamboni on February 22, 2008, in Clearfield, Utah. Between the two of them they have six children and 8 grandchildren.
Branden loved fishing, camping, smoking meats in his numerous smokers, telling stories about things he had done and spending time with family and friends around the fire. He worked in construction and when anyone would ask what he did for a living he would tell them that he was “Building Dreams”. Despite all the things he loved to do, some of his most notorious words were “I’m Bored”.
He is survived by his wife, Tayea Pearson and his children Gabryell Wise, Mickenzy (Mike) Poole, Makayla Zamboni (Jacob Ruark), Daniel Zamboni, Jake (Aubrey) Pearson, Ashlynn Pearson, 8 grandchildren and his best 4-legged friend Jessie. He is also survived by his father Steve (Donita) Pearson, stepmother Vickie Nash, Grandma Reid and 4 siblings, Jason Pearson, Mistie Pearson, Nick Nash and Kynon Nash.
He is preceded in death by his mother Anna M Hamby, his mother-in-law Sheila Pettypool, 2 uncles, his stepdad, 4 grandparents and his 4-legged partner in crime Pete.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the Orchard Ward 3270 Orchard Ave, Ogden, UT from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers you can make donations to the Venmo account @Tayea- Pearson-1 to offset funeral costs for the family.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his IHC Home Healthcare Nurse Diane (whom he “jokingly” fired numerous times during his care) for the care and support she gave to Branden and the family before and after his passing.
