Brandon Edward Adamek's Obituary
Brandon Adamek passed away on July 6th 2024. He has left a hole in our lives that will never be filled. It would be a difficult task to find a better more compassionate person. He always made us laugh even when times were difficult. He went through so much in his life but took on every challenge, managed every trial with humor, grace, and perseverance.
Brandon loved his family and friends and was always happy to help whoever he could. He was a good listener and loved to tell stories, he would always be happy to share a memory, a laugh, or a moment.
Brandon had many hobbies and interests. He loved the outdoors and even after it became too difficult to participate in outdoor activities you could often find him outside. He developed a love for cooking, always enjoying the scientific prospect of it. He enjoyed creating his own spice mixes and marinades, deciding that just because his diet had restrictions didn’t mean that his taste buds had to.
Music was a huge part of Brandon’s life. He played guitar and mandolin and loved to play with friends or by himself. He would get so excited when he figured out something new with his music. The owner of several guitars, if you were to ask him how many guitars one man needed he would respond “Just one more.” Then he would smile his mischievous little smile and start to laugh.
A farm boy at heart he spent his summers on the farm in Iowa. His time there left him with many beloved memories and the ability to tell you the make and model of just about any tractor that you happened upon. This love of mechanics extended to classic cars, and although he never got the chance to find that perfect Monte Carlo, his passion for them leaves us with a chance to smile when we see one.
Married to his love, Melissa, they shared a home, a cat, and a life that was entirely too short. They were in it together and through all the difficulty their love never wavered. They shared a love of Halloween, Mel loved it so Brandon loved it. They met for the first time at a Spirit Halloween, and the first gift Brandon ever bought for Mel was a huge rubber snake. He loved to see her smile and no matter what was going on he would try to do something to make her laugh.
Brandon leaves behind his wife, Melissa, his parents Ron and Rhea, and his brother Ryan. His celebration of life will be held July 27th, 2024.
