Farr West Utah - Brenda Cooper Lund, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt & Friend was called home to her Heavenly Father and into the arms of her dear Husband on 2/6/2021 from Complications of Covid-19. She was 66.
Brenda was born in Wilson, Utah, on January 24,1955 to Blanche Cooper and Albert “Wayne” Cooper.
Brenda attended college at Weber State University and obtained her LPN.
Brenda married the love of her life Dennis “Dee” Lund on December 15, 1978. Together they started their family and had 3 children in Magna, Utah. After her Husband graduated the police academy they moved to Hanksville, Utah and then Green River, Utah where she was a nurse and EMT. She became a widow at the age of 38 and moved to South Weber, Utah to be closer to her family. She continued working as an LPN doing home care and finishing her carrier as a Nurse at Weber County Correctional Facility.
Brenda was a book worm and could mostly be found lounging with a book or her kindle. She also enjoyed going to the gym every morning with her friends and spending time with her family. She was compassionate and full of unconditional love. Many of her Neices, Nephews and her children’s friends called her Momma Lund and considered her as a bonus Mom or Aunt. She will forever be missed by anyone who has crossed her path.
Brenda will be remembered for her adventurous spirit and never wanting to miss out on the fun, especially by her grandchildren who will always have memories of going to Lagoon, Disneyland, the Zoo and doing other fun things with their Grandma. She will also be remembered for her resilience, compassion, love, and humor.
She is preceded in Death by her Husband Dennis “Dee” Lund, Son Lyle Lund, Father Albert “Wayne” Cooper, Brother Allen Cooper, Brother-in-law’s Lance Greenwell and Garry Dillard and Niece Willa Tolman.
She is survived by her children Tina (Fidel), Jared (Natalie). Grandchildren Tavin, Emrie and Eden. Mother Blanche Cooper. Siblings Debbie (Kevin), Blayne (Tammy), Ilene (Scott), Sheila (Adrian), Dianne, and Charlene (Gabe). In-Laws Rodney and Nancy, Gary (Valerie), Clark (Annette), Judy and Michele (Phillip). And many neices and nephews.
A viewing will be held Friday February 12, 2021 between 6-8 pm. Viewing and services will be held Saturday February 13, 2021 stating at 10 am. Both services will be held at the West Weber LDS church located at 4100 W 900 S West Weber Utah.
