Jane Crawford
I had the sincere pleasure and honor of teaching next door to Brenda at Redbird Elementary School in Mesa. The words that come to mind when I think of Brenda are kind, friendly and warm. When I think of Brenda as a teacher I remember how loving and gentle she was with all of her students and how she went out of her way to always seek new learning and techniques for the betterment of her students. When I think of Brenda as a colleague I think of her smile her kindness and her desire to always be and do her best as a teacher.
Years later Brenda and I would meet again as each of us navigated moving a parent into the same assisted living care home. Again Brenda’s warmth shone through.
The world was a better place because of Brenda and she will be missed tremendously.
