Brenda Joyce Stens' Obituary
Brenda Joyce Stens passed away on December 10, 2025.
She was born on June 6, 1968, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Samuel and Bly Rasmussen. Brenda lived her life with unmistakable honesty, quick wit, and a sharp sense of humor. She was known for her jokes, sarcasm, and the deep, unwavering love she gave to those she held dear.
Brenda found joy in writing, completing her diamond art, listening to music, and decorating for any occasion. She had a special gift for making friends with all animals she encountered and rarely went without a Coca-Cola close at hand. Her warmth, creativity, and authenticity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her two children, Tiffany Stens and Sammantha Munoz (Javier Munoz Del Callejo); and her six grandchildren, Damian Solorio, Karson Stens, Nicolas Munoz, Balie O’Conner, Mathias Munoz, and Zeo Munoz. She is also survived by her brothers Samuel Rasmussen (Billie Rasmussen), Bill Rasmussen (Bernice Rasmussen), and Randy Rasmussen, along with many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Neils Rasmussen Sr. and Bly Dumas Rasmussen; and her siblings, Linda Fackrell, Ivan Fackrell, Callie Rasmussen, and Terry Rasmussen.
A viewing will be held at 10:30-12p.m. on December 27th at Premier Funeral Services, 67 East 8000 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84047, followed by her graveside at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E 4580 S, Millcreek, UT 84117.
