Brent Eugene Collett's Obituary
Brent Eugene Collett, born on February 16, 1946 in San Francisco, California, passed away peacefully at home on January 5th, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was the son of Thiel Dee Collett and Pearl Dover Collett (deceased). He was raised in San Marino, California and is a U.S. Army veteran. He married his eternal companion and sweetheart, Donna Young. on (date) in the Washington D.C. Temple.
He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and diligently served in any capacity he could and was called to do. He loved hard work and serving others. He was a wonderful man with a heart of gold.
He was preceded in death by his brother Douglas and sister Camille. He is survived by his four siblings, Sharron Collier (Provo, Utah), Paul Collett (Cadiz, California), Louise Jorgensen (Orem, Utah), Charles Collett (Newport Beach, California), his wife Donna Collett, five children, Becky, Keith, Leah, Jason, Suzanne, and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in Friday, January 10 in Lexington, Kentucky. A second funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Windsor 3rd Ward in Orem, Utah, 1405 N Main Street, with a gathering prior to services from 9:30 to 10:45 am. Interment will be at Orem City Cemetery located at 1520 N 800 E in Orem, UT.
