Brent Harris' Obituary
Brent Harris, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, of Highland, Utah passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 68. Brent was born on December 30, 1954, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to parents Victor and Phyllis Harris. He graduated from Bonneville High School and continued his education at Brigham Young University, where after returning from his LDS mission in Arizona, he met and fell in love with his sweetheart Robyn.
Brent was a kindhearted man who found fulfillment in helping and serving others. He had a genuine appreciation for meaningful conversations and had a delightful sense of humor.
Professionally, Brent was a self-employed individual who made significant contributions by providing software management within the hospitality business. His dedication and expertise left a lasting impact on those who worked with him.
Brent found solace and guidance through his faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was blessed with the gift of healing hands. His touch blessed others, and his spiritual journey was an integral part of his life.
Brent was a gifted craftsman and his hands created many beautiful and useful things for his home and family. He treasured hiking adventures with his family, fishing trips with his father, river excursions with his brother Kay and their families, playing catch with his sons and grandsons, and teasing Bella. Brent also found delight in riding his motorcycle with Robyn, embracing the freedom and adventure it provided.
Brent leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife of 43 years Robyn Harris, their children Andrea, Kaleb (Delaney), and Joshua; his cherished grandchildren Bella Lung, Sawyer and Roman Harris (mother Melissa); his brothers Steve (Rhean) Harris and Kay (Sue) Harris, as well as many nieces, nephews, and their extended families. Brent was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Phyllis Harris.
A memorial service in honor of Brent's life will be held at the LDS Stake Center, located at 11605 N 6000 W, Highland, UT 84003, on September 9, 2023, at 11:00 am. Those who wish to offer their condolences prior to the memorial may come by beginning at 10:00 am. Brent’s ashes will be scattered in a private family ceremony at a later date.
Brent will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His legacy of kindness, service, and humor will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who knew him. We love you, Dad!
