Brian Scott Marsh
March 23, 1949 – April 22, 2021
Brian Scott Marsh, 72, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Stonehenge Skilled Nursing Center in South Ogden Utah. He was born March 23, 1949 in Ogden Utah, a son of Wayne Bell Marsh and Juanita Ruth Marsh. He grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ben Lomond High School.
After high school, Brian served a mission in the New England States for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints. Brian married Lynne Ellis on August 21, 1970 in the Ogden Temple. They went on to have four children, two boys and two girls: Darcey, Jenny, Jamie, and Tracy. Brian worked several retail and industrial jobs in his life but spent the majority of his working career working as a Retail Store Manager for Petsmart Inc.
In 2002, Brian remarried Karen Graves Marsh on September 7 in Ogden Utah. Brian loved photography, art, gardening, reading, watching movies, spending time with family, and traveling the Oregon Coastline. Words his family would use to describe him include humble, mild manner, caring, intelligent, reserved, reliable, meticulous, and stubborn. By passing away too soon, Brian continued to demonstrate his amazing characteristic of always being early and punctual.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents and older brother Jeff and stepson Grant. Brian is survived by his wife Karen, his children Darcey (Dave) Pointer, Jenny (Shayne), Messerly, Jamie (Monique) Marsh, Tracy Marsh, Stepson Von (Devaney) Marsh and 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A cremation was done by Premier Funeral Services. No other services will be held. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Bless you Brian, you will be greatly missed.
