Brian Anthony Vega's Obituary
Brian Anthony Vega, 50, of Clearfield passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2022. He was born in Ogden, Utah on February 23, 1972 to Robert (Bob) Vega and Emily Martinez. He attended elementary in Ogden and Washington Terrace, Sand Ridge Jr. High and Roy High School. Brian
attended St. Mary Catholic Church in West Haven.
Brian had a great love for the outdoors and spent much of his free time in the Rocky Mountains of Utah. He was an avid fisherman and knew all the best fishing holes. Brian also hunted big game. The mountains are where he felt most at peace. Brian enjoyed playing and watching sports. He played on the football team in Jr. high and played on several basketball leagues. He never missed an NFL game when his Kansas City Chiefs were playing and was overjoyed when they finally took their second Superbowl win in 2020. Brian loved all kinds of music and attended many concerts. His greatest joy was spending time with his children, family and friends. He was most passionate about time spent with his children and enjoyed teaching them about life. Brian will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Brian was preceded in death by his Grandparents Carl and Stella Martinez, Parents Robert (Bob) Vega, Emily Martinez Silva, Uncle Carl Martinez and brother Robert Vega.
He is survived by his life's partner Nikki Hover, stepfather Norberto Silva, his children Chase (Randi Russell) Vega, Ryan Vega (Justus Martinez), Carley Vega (Riley Olsen), Kenadee and Willow. Grandchildren RJ and Serenity Vega.
The family has held private services and encourages all to attend a celebration of life that will be held at later date.
