Our son, Brian St. John Yates Jr., 54, was born on December 29th 1967 to Brian and Julia Yates at Holy Cross hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Passed away on November, 14, 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah after losing his battle with mental illness.
Brian loved the outdoors. Hunting, fishing and rock hunting among his favorites.
In his better days he loved to play jokes, pranks and banter with his boys and grandkids.
He is survived by his beloved partner and soul mate Janet Davis, his mother and father, his 2 sons Brian Jerome (Jenny) Nelson, 5 children Josalyn, Amanda, Brian, Maddison, Taylor, and great grandson Dean. William Mikal St. John (Charli) Yates, daughter Embra. His brother Everett Blake (Tami) Yates 4 children Leah, Candy, Amber, and Brandon, his Sister Vicky Yates son Carl.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents William (Jessie) Yates, and Grandparents Edwin (June) Rowley.
God knew of your arrival. He knows your struggles and your heart, now your soul can rest in peace knowing you are loved.
The Friends and Family gathering and a light meal will be served at The Church of Jesus Christ (2850 W 3835 S West Valley, UT) on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 3:00 PM till 6:00 PM
