I remember when I spilled paint and it hit the ceiling. My mom, Brittaney, didn't get mad at me. Instead, she said, "Let's clean it up together." Then she turned on my favorite song and we started to dance while cleaning. We still have the paint on the ceiling to this day.
Brittaney and I knew each other from work and met over 10 years ago, in that time we grew very close and we worked together at Dell EMC where we had our pictures taken and placed on a poster hung up at work. The poster stood for "You define Sucess" and was seen by all that worked there. It was a great accomplishment!
I have so many fun memories of Brittaney. she was one of my dearest friends in high school. We met playing softball together and had English class. She was a very good softball player and I loved hanging out with her.
I remember driving in the car and jamming out to Michael Jackson music. She would always tell me about her work friends at the Arby’s. I remember this one boy filling her locker full of flowers that she worked with there. She always liked the older boys. She was so beautiful I think all the boys our age were jealous that she didn’t like them. I guess thats one reason she fell in love with Randy.
When I had my first baby she was so thoughtful and made me a nursing cover. I was so grateful to her for that. I couldn’t believe she would spend the time to do that for me.
She always seemed to have a smile on her face.
The fist time hiking the back side of Timp. Was with her. We both slid down the glacier and got pretty wet.
I’m glad I was able to see her a little at the class reunion this past year and catch up. I wish I could have seen her more.
We had a lot of fun adventures.
I love you Britt, I will miss you ❤️
At the end of the funeral I could feel her there. I know she will always be close to her family and watching from heaven.
I was lucky enough to see Brittaney often in my home during her high school years. Brittaney was best friends with my sister Jolinda and my sister-in-law Mindy. The three of them were together all the time. I remember Brittaney being so sweet, kind and considerate. I never saw her do anything mean or unkind. She was always so nice to me as a younger sibling to her friend and I was so grateful for that. I remember even thinking her voice was sweet. Her singing voice was beautiful as well. We are so devastated over your loss and the grief you’re going through right now. Randy, we love you and know that she’ll be with you and your family in the coming days and years. I know you say you were so lucky to have been married to her. She was lucky to have been married to you too. You two both mean so much to my family. We love you and will keep you in our prayers. Brittaney will never be forgotten.

Brittaney and Randy lived near us when they first moved to Pleasant Grove. I was so impressed by her sweet spirit and her motherhood skills. I had the opportunity of teaching the 4 older children in Primary and then Hailey and Rose in Activity Days. I loved them so much and was so sad when they moved to Arizona. It was fun to see them in October, when they came for a visit. LOVE YOU ALL Burkes. My prayers for peace at this time.

I remember listening to Brittaney's beautiful voice singing with her mom and sisters at Grandma Lynne's funeral.
