Brock Hampton's Obituary
Our dear beloved son, brother, father and grandfather, Brock L Hampton, 61, passed away Friday, April 19th 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.
Brock was born September 7, 1962 to Larry L. Hampton and Nita Hampton-Brown. The second of five children, Brock was raised in American Fork, Utah, graduating from American Fork High School in 1980. He then went on to serve a 2-year LDS mission in Peru.
Education was important to Brock and he was a natural teacher. After graduating with his teaching degree, he started his 20+ year teaching career at Elkridge Middle School as a Spanish Teacher. He went on to get his Masters in History & Spanish. All of Brock’s students loved and adored him.
Brock enjoyed playing golf, spending time with his family, studying history and playing
Cribbage.
Brock is survived by his five children, Elvia (Michael) Edwards, Stephen (Ashley) Hampton, Katherine Hampton, Brock Hampton Jr, Samuel Hampton and his 6 grandchildren, that he adored. He is also survived by his parents Larry and Nita, siblings Lance (Tami) Hampton, Chad (Nanci) Hampton, Misty (Michael) Flygare, Malea (Felipe) Moreira and many nieces and nephews. Our family will never be the same without his smiling face.
Even as we say goodbye, we look at your life as an inspiration of love, determination and
wisdom. You will be forever missed.
