Bruce James Brewer passed peacefully at home on August 9, 2023. Bruce is survived by his wife, Sandee; his sisters, Pat, Jerrie (Gene) and Sue. He is survived also by his son, Lenny and daughter Lara (Josh) Cates and grandchildr Read Obituary
Dear Brewer family and friends, I am so sorry to learn about Bruce. We were the first class to start in the new Carbon High School. We were in line for registration and Bruce was just behind me. He was the first classmate I met in that new school! After we graduated, we went our different directions and I lost contact with him. He was a great friend during high school. I hope fond memories of him help you through this loss.

I will always remember Bruce as a kind, patient and devoted man, to his wife Sandee, his children, their children, his friends, faith and whatever he pursued he did with passion and joy. Always a warm welcome and that genuine smile letting you know you mattered to him. Bruce, the one always up for an adventure, ignited a spark in others to take the challenge and enjoy the ride wherever that took them. Sandee & Bruce, soul mates, lived many happy adventures together and in sharing their love for their Savior Jesus Christ, projected that love to all those they met. We will miss Bruce, but we rest in knowing that he is in his eternal home, Happy, Well and Complete. Bruce, leave the light on we will see you some glorious day❤️🙏
We met Bruce when he and Sandee came to our house in Reno more than 30 years ago. We could tell they were very in love with each other. Over the years we had occasion to spend more time with Bruce and Sandee. We gave him a wild ride in a hot air balloon. And an exhilarating view of Lake Tahoe from the harness of a paraglider pulled by a boat. We visited them over the years and Bruce was always a very gracious host. Bruce was a kind and calming presence in his family. Sadly, Bruce left for heaven too soon for us, but we know God had his place ready for him.
