Bruce Wayne Hawes' Obituary
Our beloved father, grandfather, and friend Bruce Wayne Hawes passed away surrounded by loved ones in his home on October 22nd 2023 at the age of 70. He is preceded in death by his parents Larue and Garland Hawes and his brother David Hawes. He was survived by his wife Colleen, sons, Kurt, Travis, and Daniel, daughter, Crystal, 4 brothers, 1 sister, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Bruce graduated Bonneville High School class of 1970 in South Ogden, Utah. He met his wife Colleen in Ogden, Utah who he later married in Elko, Nevada on July 23rd, 1978. They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple. Bruce was a hard worker for over 20 years at FMC Jetway. He was also a gifted mechanic, worked tirelessly as the handyman, cook, and provider for his family and had the strength to shoulder and balance it all. Bruce loved the outdoors and camping, especially when it was an opportunity to bring his family together.
Funeral services will be held on the following dates Premier Funeral Services in Roy, UT:
His viewing will be held on Friday, October 27th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 11:00am.
His burial will take place at Portage Cemetery in Portage Utah.
