Burley Reese Parke's Obituary
Burley Reese Parke, Beloved son of Eldon Parke and Jennifer Gren, left this world much too soon on Sunday, June 25th, 2023 at the young age of 24 as a result of injuries sustained from a car accident.
In his short time on earth with us he brought immeasurable love and hope to his friends and family. His contagious smile brought an abundance of light and joy to everyone he encountered.
He was born on March 3rd, 1999 in American Fork, Utah. He grew up in Lehi, Utah and spent a good portion of his childhood riding bikes and building ramps so he could jump his bikes. He learned to ride a bike without training wheels at the young age of three. He was a very active child growing up. He also loved to take broken items and fix them so that they would work again. He could fix anything that he got his hands on. He loved fishing and camping with his family. He loved movie nights with them also.
As he got older he developed an interest in playing hockey and ended up playing hockey for several years and loved it. He played goalie and forward. Playing goalie was where his heart was. As a young adult he always planned on playing on an adult league.
Burley had a lot of friends that he cared deeply about. He was a very forgiving person and had a heart of gold. He also loved his family fiercely.
He was just getting ready to start a new job with an automotive company which he was thoroughly excited about. He spent hours working on his car and also his friends’ cars. Whenever someone’s car had an issue they would call on Burley to help them diagnose and fix the problem. He absolutely loved helping anyone who needed anything at all.
We will forever be grateful for the memories that we share with our sweet Burley. We will cherish those memories every day. He has left a hole in our hearts and his sweet, wild spirit will live on with us forever.
Burley is survived by his parents, Eldon Parke and Jennifer Gren (Daniel) and his siblings Brady John, Sawyer Atchison (Trevor) and Brittnee Parke and four nieces and nephews as well as his grandparents Jack and Cheryl Brown and Shana Ross.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Burley and Dorothy Parke, his great grandparents, Norman and Ruby Ross and Oliver Brown and Viola Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, July 7th, 2023 at the LDS Chapel in American Fork at 165 North 350 West.
