Calvin B. Bemis age 71, beloved husband and father passed away peacefully on July 8, 2022
He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to George and Utahna Bemis
Calvin is survived by his loving wife of 49 1/2 years, Juanita, and his sons Tony and Micheal.
He was lucky to have a large and wonderful family: preceded in death are his parents, brothers, LeRoy, and Richard, and sister Kay Butler. Surviving brothers and sisters Sally Winkelkotter (Bry), Iva Fillmore (Steve), Larry, Raymond (Tangalee), Patti Weaver (Jim), and Nola What cotton (Bart).
Sgt Calvin B. Bemis US Army Retired was extremely proud to serve his country for over 20 years. He was a Vietnam War Veteran 70-71, 72-73. He served in both active Army and Utah Army National Guard as a Bell UH-1 Huey helicopter mechanic and crew chief. He was awarded the Bronze Star, and Air Service Medal, as well as other awards and honors.
He loved activities in the great outdoors camping, and riding his ATV around the Kanosh, Utah area where he grew up.
He will be greatly missed.
