Even though our lives parted ways many years ago Our friendship through out our years at Carbon and CEU. Are often thought of. So sad to see him gone

I feel so bad about Uncle Calvin's sudden passing. I have so many good memories of him. My favorite memories are of when he would take David and me hiking in the mountains by grandmas house. We would be gone for hours hiking through the mountains exploring, running on the train tracks and having a snack on the rocky hills. There were a few times I thought we were lost and would never find our way back home, but Calvin always knew the way home. He always had a smile on his face and had such a good outlook on life. I know whenever I feel like I'm lost or alone and I'm not sure what to do, I will always remember his example of always knowing the way home.

I have many a memory of calvin and i jogging to the steel bridge up consumers. That is when my lifetime bond with him started and was strong the day he passed on. Til we meet again uncle cal.
He had a one of a kind laugh and smile. I don't think I've ever seen him not smiling or laughing.
There are so many good memories I have of Calvin. My husband and I double dated with him when we were in college. I loved to dance with Calvin back in the day, he was an excellent dancer. Calvin was the best man at our wedding ( in 2012) and it was so good to meet his wonderful family. My heart goes out to you, Kris, and your family. Your children are very young to be losing their father. I can't help but think that Calvin and Alan are catching up with each other in heaven (Alan died Aug. 18th, 2015).
