Carl J Brewer, 68, passed away surrounded by family on May 16, 2026.
He was born on September 3, 1957 to Boyd and Donna (Rodeback) Brewer in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married the love of his life, Tawnya Reed, on December 6, 1980. He loved camping, fishing and hunting. He spent as much time as he could outdoors. He enjoyed finding deals at pawn shops and cheering for local Utah sports including the Utes, Jazz and Mammoth. His greatest joy was being "Papa" to his grandkids.
Carl is survived by his devoted wife, his treasured daughters, Ashley and Wendy (Gordon Batty), his adored grandchildren, Harrison and Hope Stevens, brothers Ted Gabbard, James Brewer (Angela), sisters Becky Hunt (Bruce), Kay Fankhauser (Larry), brothers- in- law Lonnie and Gordon Reed, step siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Carl is proceeded in life by his parents, brothers Ron Gabbard, Glen Brewer, Leslie Brewer, sister-in-law Patricia Gabbard, and nephew Ron Gabbard Jr.
There will be a celebration of Carl's life at a later date.
