I worked with Carla at Brite Music. She turned the Brite Newsletter into a great publication that no one else could match up to. I loved working with her and thought she was so awesomely friendly, and wish to extend my condolences to her family. Carla was someone I feel lucky to have known.
Carla was one of my closest and dearest friends for over 35 years. My heart is broken that she was struck with this awful illness and taken from us so early. However, I know she suffered greatly and I'm thankful her death came quickly. I will love and miss this most special person forever. Nancy Trunnell
Dear Cannon Family,
In the Washington Ward in the late 1960's when a group of 6 (or was it 7?) beautiful young ladies arrived from the University of Utah, for us guys it was a real event. Each was special. I wanted to date them all.
Carla was an instant and constant friend. With Carla I could always be myself. She would look you right in the eye with her sparkling eyes and listen to you with her full attention. Carla's loyalty and genuineness and fun personality were always evident.
Over the years, I was (and am) confident that if and when I see Carla again, that close kinship I felt with her 40 years ago will be instantly present.
