I know she is reunited with those who have gone before and is awaiting those yet to join her, but my heart aches for those left here. I met Carmel long ago through singles stuff. I enjoyed the intensity of her personality-the intense sweetness, the intense fun, etc. She is indeed a great person.
Carmel and I were in the same singles ward. She was my mentor in the relief society activities. She was always so kind and understanding. She brought sunshine with her wherever she went. She will be truly missed. Sorry for your loss Jeff and Owen.
I remember the first time I met Carmel. It was at her bridal shower, she walked right up to me and called me by name. I was shocked that she knew who I was, I left that day thinking it was awesome that she was marrying my cousin Jeff. Carmel was such a thoughtful person and I haven't stopped thinking about her since the day she passed away. The world seems emptier. My thoughts have been constantly with her family.
