Carmen Banda Northrup's Obituary
Carmen Northrup, 78, of Tooele passed away at home August 11 2022. She was born May 11, 1944 in Bingham, Utah to Gelasia Banda Cruz and Jose Ramirez
She later moved to Salt Lake where in her teens she ran for Mexican Queen and was 1st attendant. She met and married her husband Ralph who together they raised 4 Children. She loved watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed doing ceramics and entered many of her projects in the state fair and won many ribbons.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Northrup; her son Ralph J (Wendy) Northrup, daughter Stephanine (Joe) Sandoval, daughter Delores Sanchez, and son Daniel (Annie) Northrup; brother Louie (LeAnn) Saldivar, and sisters Chris (Fernando) Flores and Chris (Kelly) Corsi; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Refugio and Ernie Saldivar, and sisters Bertha Gonzalez and Steffie Valdez, and son-in-law Jim Sanchez.
We would like to thank Moniker Hospice especially her nurse Nick, CNA Stephanie, social worker Cherly, and Chaplain Tiffany. Thank you for taking such good care of her.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am, Friday August 19, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 946 South 200 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6-8:00pm on Thursday at Premier Funeral Services, 67 East 8000 South, Midvale, Utah.
