Carol Leone Mackintosh Chido's Obituary
Carol Leone Macintosh was born to Florence May McMaster Mackintosh and Albert Reiser Mackintosh on January 10, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Carol passed peacefully in her home in West Jordan on November 6, 2020.
Carol Married Leon Chido September 13, 1948 in Evanston, Wyoming. They had three children Steven Leon Chido, Sandra Lee Chido and Teri Lynn Chido. She was a mother, sister, aunt and cousin.
Carol AKA Noni lived her life as a domestic engineer, as she would say, managing the home and taking care of her family. She babysat her grandchildren as well as other children in the neighborhood for many years. She would sew and crochet in her spare time making outfits, her famous fruit cake so there was always a treat for her visitors. Her famous sauce was loved by all and she enjoyed hosting family pasta nights for everyone to enjoy. Carol was an avid bowler for more than 50 years and nothing would stop her. She bowled in season leagues for all seasons. Carol was one of the Jazz biggest fans and would watch every game. She would miss a family function or leave early to watch the games when needed. Her great grandchildren loved to have sleepovers and help her cheer the Jazz on whenever they could.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents Florence and Albert Mackintosh, Husband Leon (Sonny) Chido, Brother Albert Raymond Mackintosh, Sister-in-law Sue Mackintosh, Sister Josephine Joy Simpson, Brother-in-law Ceicel Simpson, and Son Steven Chido who passed 6 days prior to her.
Carol will be dearly missed by her family, her Daughter Sandra Price, Son-in-law Douglas Price, and Daughter Teri Baker. GrandChildren, Jeremy Price (Sandra), Tricia Price Baker, Coby Baker (Gina), Jasey Baker, Lynzi Miles (Mason), Brandon Chido and Corey Chido. Great grandchildren Karli Baker, Kassidi Baker, Jacob Baker, Daxton Price, Alyssa Jones (Mark), Lexi Adderley (Braydon), Hunter Taylor, Nyana Miles, Alec Chido and Shyler Chido Great-great grandchildren Masyn Jones, Markey Jones and Brently Livingston.
Salt Lake City Cemetery on Friday April 23 at 11:00 am for anyone who would like to attend.
