Carol Cook
May 23, 1951 - July 12, 2021
Carol passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a long battle with breast cancer.
She was born to Boyd and Joyce Rhea on May 23, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She had four siblings who she loved very much. Vicki (Squirrel), Kathy (Frank), Debbie (Bert), Boyd (LuAnn).
She married the love of her life Larry Cook on Dec 9, 1969. Larry later passed away on May 8, 2019.
She was the Mother of 2 sons who she adored very much. Jamie (Mindy) and Steve (Theresa)
She was the Gran to 6 amazing grandchildren; Shanel, Trevor, Madison, Colby, Cambri and Jacee. Also a special Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She had many dear friends that knew and loved her. But she held the Cloward family very close to her heart.
Carol spent her childhood at the race track with her dad and grew to love NASCAR. She went to many NASCAR races over the years with her family.
She was very passionate about serving the community. In 2012 the Pink Warriors was organized by Carol for the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure. She was part of raising and donating over $30,000. Carol spent the last 7 years volunteering for Mascot Miracles Foundation creating memories and experiences for families with special needs and serious medical conditions.
The Cook family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff at Utah Cancer Specialist, Dr. Michael Self, PA Catherine Platt and CNS Hospice who provided great care to Carol till the end.
