Carol Ann Moody Loveall Pulver's Obituary
Carol Ann Moody Loveall Pulver left this earthly existence on August 31, 2019. She passed away quietly at her home in Payson, UT and was surrounded by her friends, family, and loved ones. She was 83 years old.
Carol was born on Nov. 27th, 1935 to Earl and Velma Moody in Lewistown, MT. She was the youngest of four children. She attended Columbia Falls High school and graduated in 1953 and married Kenneth Dean Loveall Jr. in June of that same year. They were later sealed in the Cardston Alberta Canada Temple. They were married for 32 Years. They lived in Columbia Falls, MT for 23 years and then moved to Kennewick, WA in 1976 where Kenny had gotten a job to work on building a suspension bridge. In 1979 Carol and her 4 youngest children moved to Utah. While living in Provo, UT Carol met and married Eugene Oliver Pulver who had 6 adult children. She became very involved in their lives and in the lives of their children. They moved to Payson in 1999.
Carol’s family was her whole life. She had 11 children but always wanted a baker’s dozen. She loved her Savior Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many many callings throughout her life including a senior mission with her husband Gene. They served in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission from May 2002-November 2003. They were beloved by the people they served and kept in contact with them for many years. While there, Gene served as a Branch President, but the branch was so small that Carol always joked he was a Twig President. She was always serving and opening her home to others. While her kids were growing up, there was rarely a Sunday that she didn’t have the missionaries over for dinner. She always said “the more the merrier.”
Feeding and clothing 11 children was difficult and she worked so hard selling whatever she could on the side to make ends meet. She sold bras, Levoy’s elegant “sleepware”, wigs, probably some of the first Vitamix blenders, Hokey sweepers, and trim twist boards. She worked tirelessly to help provide for her family. For years she worked with the Handicap Awareness program bringing awareness to the community in order to provide accessibility for the disabled. She also sold mobile homes mainly to couples looking to get into their first home. She worked in a Care Center for many years and that is how our 30+ year family tradition of Christmas Caroling began.
She loved life. She believed in the cup half full versus half empty. She followed the example of the Savior – to love one another. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her family and will be dearly missed.
Carol was preceded in death by her mother and father Earl and Velma Moody. Her brothers, Everett Brink & Arly Moody. And her sister Nellie Motes, as well as her second husband Eugene Pulver of 26 years.
She is survived by her first husband Kenneth Loveall and their 11 children, 32 Grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
