Carol Ann Angelos Snow Burell's Obituary
Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Carol Ann Angelos Snow Burell, passed away peacefully at home, on January 24, 2025, at the age of 85, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 29, 1939, to James B. and Mabel Angelos. She will be remembered for her kind heart, strength, sweet laugh, beautiful smile, and adventurous spirit. She loved reading her Bible and fiction novels (John Steinbeck and James Kavanaugh, her favorite authors), traveling, being outdoors (campfires, roasting hotdogs & marshmallows), playing games (she rolled more Yahtzee than anyone else), sewing, sharing her mad cooking and baking skills (Greek Chicken and banana nut bread, her specialties); she especially loved spending time with her family.
Survived by her four daughters: Debbie Snow, Patricia Ann (Joel) Hudson, Daphanie Kay Snow, and Kelly (Yvon) Burell-Juteau; grandchildren: Ryan, Jamey, Tylor, David, Cody, Jennifer, Joshua, Jeremiah, Ronna, Alexandria, and Nathan; great-grandchildren: Hunter, Lilliana, Sam, Luke, Broden, Angel, Carson, Smith, Henry, Xakaryah, Gabriel, Nikoli, Juno, Eli, Auryana, Tyler, Aaron, Jason, Brooke, Evalyn, Michael, McKennzie, Shelby, Shawn, and Jaxon; brother: Thomas Angelos.
Predeceased by: father: James B. Angelos; mother: Mabel Angelos; brothers: Bill Angelos, Paul Angelos, and Jimmy Angelos; sisters: Vivian Milliken, and Patricia Angelos; former husbands: Gordon E. Snow, and George W. Burell; sons, Brent Eugene Snow, and Gordon Scott Snow; grandsons: Gordon Scott Snow Jr., and Robert E. Snow; great-grandson: Jonah Smith.
At Carol’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, she asked friends and loved ones to connect and enjoy their families. Raise a glass (Opa!), share a laugh, and hug each other tight. The family invites you to donate to your preferred charity in Carol’s honor as an alternative to flowers.
Carol will forever be cherished and remembered by her family and friends. We love and miss you, Mama. Rest in peace, beautiful lady.
