Carol Marie Timberman's Obituary
Carol Marie Timberman, 84 of Clearfield, Utah went to be with her Lord peacefully on Saturday June 27, 2026 at Rocky Mountain Care Center.
Carol was born on October 24, 1941 in Bismark, Missouri to Francis and Virginia Bloom. Her family later moved to Joplin Missouri where she graduated from Joplin High School in 1959. She married Donald Edward Timberman, the love of her life on August 13, 1960 in Joplin, Missouri. She and her husband had two beautiful children, and Carol’s primary focus was her home and her children. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, and mother who adapted to the challenges of a career military spouse as her husband was an officer in the US Air Force. During their travels with the military, she was able to attend Pima College in Tucson, Arizona and later Weber State University. When Don’s military service ended, they chose to retire in Clearfield, Utah.
Carol was a dedicated Christian and a member at Layton Hills Baptist Church. During her time in Utah, she served her Lord and Savior faithfully through both her volunteer positions at Mountain View Baptist Church (formerly First Southern Baptist Church of Clearfield) and as their church secretary. During the early 1990’s, she felt God leading her to worship and serve at First Baptist Church in Roy. In 1995, she joined with Layton Hills Baptist Church and held many positions of leadership both in the Sunday School, mission programs, and jail ministry at Layton Hills as the Lord led her. She also held several leadership positions in the Women’s Missionary Union of the Utah-Idaho Southern Baptist Convention. She was on the organizational board of Fish ‘n Loaves Food Pantry in 1986 and donated many hours is serving others. She was very dedicated to the mission of sharing the love of Jesus and His gospel of salvation with the world, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Carol is survived by her daughter Anne Reed (Mike Reed), and her grandsons; Chris Reed, and Austin Timberman. She was preceded in death by her parents: Francis and Virginia Bloom, her husband: Donald Timberman, and her son Martin Timberman.
A celebration of Carol’s life will held at 11:00 AM on July 11, 2026 at Layton Hills Baptist Church, 1332 N Hill Field Road, Layton, Utah with an opportunity to visit with family and friends prior to the service from 9:30-10:30. Interment will be at Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park at 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah immediately following the service.
Carol will be remembered by all who knew her for her kindness and calm, loving and sweet spirit. She was always concerned about others. She was a great friend and will be remembered lovingly by her family and friends.
