I had the honor go be Carson’s First Grade teacher at North Ogden Elementary. Every day his grandfather waited for him outside my door. One day we had crazy hair day, Carson didn’t have crazy hair, (mist boys didn’t do the crazy hair) but he had fun blonde hair. So I asked him if he wanted me to give him crazy hair. He said yes, so I took red paint and put red spots all over his head. The next day he came to school and he still had red spots in his hair. I asked him Carson did you wash your hair last night? And he said that he did three times! And the red dots did not come out of his hair. They had to shave his hair to get rid of the red dots. He was a kind young man. My prayers are with this wonderful family.

Carson was a close friend of mine all through school. We recently connected a few months back and was grateful to hear from him. He was always the best teammate and friend. I was so sad and heartbroken to hear about this. The family is in my prayers.

I’ll alway remember how sweet Carson was. He was the cutest little boy running around who would only eat KFC potatoes.
My heart breaks knowing the pain you suffered- but I know that you’re with Jason, grandma and grandpa. I know you boys are up there hunting and fishing.
