Catherine (Cathy) Marie Black's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine (Cathy) Marie Black on March 7, 2024, from Heber City, Utah. With feet planted firmly on the Word of God and His promises, Cathy's legacy is one of devotion to her family, unwavering faith in Jesus, and a life filled with joy and kindness.
Born January 1, 1959 in Rawlins, Wyoming, Cathy lived in multiple cities throughout the state. She later moved to Casper, where she graduated from Natrona County High School in 1977. Cathy married Lee Black on October 22, 1983 and moved to Billings, Montana where they welcomed their children Jeremy and Katelynn. An avid reader, she read countless books, studied multiple devotionals, and dived deep into studies of the Bible. Cathy's culinary skills brought warmth and comfort to family gatherings. Her love for her grandchildren knew no bounds; each moment spent with them was a precious treasure.
